» The European integration process has been shaped not only by the frequently cited ›founding fathers‹ – numerous women have also played an active and pioneering role in it. The touring exhibition #EUwomen presents the achievements and stories of these personalities. The exhibition addresses current issues such as equal opportunities and structural inequalities between men and women in the EU as well as achievements since the beginning of the European unification process. The aim of the #EUwomen digital platform is to motivate young girls and women everywhere to become interested in actively promoting European values and ideas. It is a great responsibility for all of us to both practise and further develop the values of the EU, and we can only succeed if we do it together! «
